      Like many biotech firms, Medtronic offers very good medical benefits. They also offer educational incentives and Lean Sigma training. Over all, the incentives they offer are much stronger than the average.

      Svantaggi

      Pay is not up to par of industry standards. Some managers have significant influence and are micromanagers, lowering over all productivity. Also, educational incentives are offered but are hard to get approval for.

      Generous, old-school benefits. Almost twice the PTO as other places I've worked, excellent healthcare, 401K matching, etc. Many high-quality colleagues and a generally mellow, polite business culture.

      Svantaggi

      Multiple competing bureaucracies, internal consultancies, a computer-illiterate 'stakeholder' class with permission to disrupt anything, and perverse incentives driving waste.
