Great way to break into the device industry and medical sales. Enjoyed the local team environment and leveraging the Medtronic name and long history of relationships within the territory.

Svantaggi

Management is very disconnected from the field and lives within their own world of unrealistic expectations. Difficult for them to be honest and open to the many challenges our division was facing. They need to get rid of the old boys club culture and get with the current times.

Generous, old-school benefits. Almost twice the PTO as other places I've worked, excellent healthcare, 401K matching, etc. Many high-quality colleagues and a generally mellow, polite business culture.

Multiple competing bureaucracies, internal consultancies, a computer-illiterate 'stakeholder' class with permission to disrupt anything, and perverse incentives driving waste.
