Vantaggi
My coworkers were some of the best people I have ever worked with. The training was fairly in depth which I appreciated.
Svantaggi
1. You are allowed 6 attendance points before being up for termination. Arriving late or leaving early is 0.5 points. Calling off is 1 point. No call no shows are 2 points. Employees are treated as numbers from the very beginning. 2. Management is extremely out of touch. The store director spends most of the day in his office until his boss comes in to do a walk through. Only then does he show up on the floor and help, and he's threatened a former coworker's job if he didn't get a task done in an unreasonable amount of time because of the walk through that day. 3. The store director asks for more and more of the employees despite being short staffed. He does not spend enough time on the floor to know what the job actually entails. The turnover rate is insanely high and he just demands more of the employees who stay when people inevitably quit. He needs to spend a day in each department. 4. A huge reason that the store is so short staffed is because the store director gets a yearly bonus depending on how much money he spends on the store. 5. The store director is a gaslighter. 6. My team leader played favoritism and gave me an attendance point for having a 101.3 degree fever at work because apparently I didn't HAVE to tell her. I was expected to handle food and produce all day and spread my germs to our customers and my coworkers. 7. My team leader reacted to my leaving early with anger nearly every time. 8. My team leader ignored my attempts at communication outside of work, which were always about important topics. 9. There is a general air of misery and frustration among the employees. I didn't go a day without hearing people complaining being angry. 10. This is honestly a genuinely traumatic place to work.
