Vantaggi

The workload was very tolerable. The hours in my group provided an actual opportunity to have work/life balance. Good benefits, especially for the location. There are a lot of good people there.

Svantaggi

Maybe I was lucky or stupid - I chose to take people at their word - I worked when I had to, enjoyed perks like the gym. Some very paranoid feelings are top-down. Perks such as education were doled out like platinum, only to the elite approved people. Gossip was more important than facts. It was very hard to tell where you truly stood. If you were disliked by someone at the Junior Manager level, you didn't have a chance.

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Svantaggi

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
