Friendly environment. People will always help you and teach you if you ask. Almost any other place in gamedev or cartoon-production will have former Melnitsa workers, so you'll get help moving forward with your carier and an inside info on state of things in the industry. Most of the managers a pros and realy help. Salary is relatively ok. A couple years before, it was pretty bad, but now it's getting better and better.

Constatnt deadlines. There's no such point in time, when there's no some deadline. Everything is on fire and should've been done yesterday all the time. That leads to a lot of mistakes and overall not the best quality of the final product. So you'll have to put extra hours in making something presentable for your portfolio. Your work can be done and accepted by everyone, and then the script will be rewriten and you'll have to dump your previous work and do it another way. Buged me a lot.
