Job wasn’t too complicated. It’s a job and it pays. You learn a few things, you meet people ( those that don’t look down on you) that are pretty cool. The patients are fun as well. Many different stories and tales every shift.

Work the h*lol out of you and understaff the department so those that are there have to do twice as much work. Constantly hound you about where you are because you didn’t make it from one side of a five building complex to the other while pushing a bed with someone in it and an IV pole, in 15 minutes. You’re always the one that’s at fault for something, even if you were following what you were told. You’re told not to touch something, you don’t touch it and then you’re asked why you didn’t do anything. Well, because you were told not to touch it! You lose either way. I dreaded waking up for this job every single day with every fiber of my being. There is pretty much no downtime either. As soon as you call to finish an assignment, there are plenty more waiting. You’re working your butt off the entire shift and you’re paid one of the lowest rates in the hospital. Absurd.
