Excellent benefit package, solid employee wellness program if you are not in bedside patient care. Some great people to work with. Close to home for me so no commute. Focus on best practice which is helping nursing improve. Support internal advancement.

Much time and effort to obtain magnet status then all the hours were cut. A lot of benefited positions were replaced with per diem position so difficult to get staff buy-in for maintaining magnet status. Can be out of nurse patient ratio which makes it difficult to get timely breaks. Lower then average wage compared to other hospitals. No bonus offered for extra shifts. Follows the LEAN philosophy which isn't always applicable to patient care. It is not a car factory.
