Long Beach Memorial Center is a great teaching hospital filled people who want you to learn and advanced in your career. I was an intern at the hospital and felt welcomed working in a team. MemorialCare is really big on teamwork and problem-solving to help patients improve their lives. They also have appreciation events for staff which include catering and social gatherings. It is a great place to work

Long Beach Memorial Center does have some issues with hiring long term staff. Management is difficult but they tend to favor contractors over long term staff. Long term staff are not given priority for PTO and will often have to work during the holidays. But overall, everyone is treated well and I still recommend this facility.
