They bring in speakers with cutting-edge ideas for collaborative learning and student engagement. Good support for faculty development. Expanding ways to create a supportive learning context for students.
Svantaggi
Multiple campuses so can affect building community but this is also a pro for students who can access courses from different locations (a double edge). The common problem across academia--dependence on too many adjuncts who need better compensation.
