There are NO pro's working at Metal Sales, the only positive is I received no 'surprise' from anyone working here when I told someone I am interviewing or quitting, everyone is very helpful and understanding while they themselves are also looking for a better place to work - we all have incredible distrust toward ownership - a common enemy. You have great resources that will assist and share recruiters and leads and former employees are very supportive as well.

Three of the four owners (ego-maniacs and other well known issues) are incompetent tyrants that lack the business context and ability to lead any business. Fortunately for them they inherited the business (they could have never created it, or been successful working for anyone else), unfortunately they don't have the leadership ability to run the business or the understanding of how much value they are destroying by their decisions and the manner in which they lead the business. The company has no short or long-term strategy, is led by an hourly knee-jerk reaction-oriented owner with no conscience for the ramifications of his behavior and detrimental actions and the long term impact on morale of employees, customer satisfaction, and ultimately the success of the company.

Management was excellent and we're well trained and ensuring our responsibilities were communicated. Pay was adequate.

Great when local leadership stands for what's right. Most management both local and other branches have built supportive network to help one another. If willing to put nose to grindstone for 3 yrs before seeing meaningful change it's worth it. Lots of advancement for those with a drive. Stand out make waves. Those who are just quiet and put there heads down can and will be passed up. Show quality, passion and progression in development and you can flourish.

Slow positive changes due to corporate restraints. Has a corporate vs local Branch vs sales cage fighter mentality. 3 may enter 1 may leave vibes. Standardization needed rather than double standards.
