I have been involved with this company since their expansion to the Dubuque region in November, and I love the atmosphere and growth opportunity that I have at Mid American! I applied for the management training program, because most of my career experience is in sales management and the training that I received was structured and very helpful, especially since I had no experience in retail marketing. The business is expanding in the near future to several different cities in Iowa and with hard work and the right knowledge I hope that I can make a major impact on the growth and development of this company! Working directly with the manager and the training staff make for an environment in which I am excited to come to work everyday. We had a business conference in Dallas this past month and it was an awesome opportunity to network and gain valuable career experience. I am excited about the future!

Enthusiastic work environment with a very motivating staff to work with. Very goal oriented and you are able to achieve commission if you work hard enough.

You work 6 days a week which includes weekends, unrealistic work goals, and there is not much training. This is a very high stakes job, while working I saw 7 people get "let go" in an office that already didn't have many people working there to begin with. The training program will work and there's lots of room for growth but the growth is just a title, no pay bonuses for being promoted the first couple of times. If you are goal oriented and self motivated this is the right job for you
