Mingledorff's is a family-owned company, which comes with all the quirks that entails. They can focus on areas of the business as they see fit, without being beholden to the bottom line or shareholders. You'll find certain subsets of the company happier than others - sales may have agreeable people, but not necessarily as loyal or team-oriented. Some more blue-collar roles may have more turnover than others. All in all, the teams and people I've worked with on the Commercial side have been pleasant and team-oriented, and most would give you the shirt off their back.

Company has some work to do to get up to speed and be competitive in the hiring market. For example, a maternity was only just recently added, in 2022, and it's a week. Many companies out there now offer 4-6 months of leave. Most offices in the company are outdated. Sometimes they'll focus on a whole subset of the business and ignore others. It is an ~80 year old company, and there are many times it can feel like it.
