Nursing care at Mission is all about relationships. I have been a RN for 14 years and have worked in a variety of healthcare settings which include Duke University Hospital and Military Hospitals and nothing compares to nursing at Mission. I truly love being a Mission nurse and caring for our community. Western North Carolina is a beautiful place to nurse and live.

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
