      The primary focus is on patients and delivery of quality, evidence-based care. Patient care is excellent. Employees have benefits not available in other large healthcare employers. The employer's match for the retirement plan is made with each pay-period! The healthcare plan for employees is great.

      Top heavy management; lack of support from some management staff; superficial HR attention given to professional development and education. The external website is difficult for patients/potential employees to navigate or find information.

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
