I work with some really great people, beautiful environment and plenty of history to share with guests.

do not get paid enough to do all the work my position requires...plus applied and was offered another position, then told it's unlikely it'll be filled....room for growth is to be discouraged.

The property itself is beautiful and historically significant. There are many talented line-level and mid-level employees who care deeply about guest service and hospitality.

Leadership is erratic, impulsive, and retaliatory. Kelly Roberts (not Duane) functions as the de facto CEO, despite having no formal hospitality training. Her unchecked control has led to an unhealthy, chaotic environment where fear and favoritism drive decision-making. Terminations occur without due process or documentation—employees are fired abruptly for expressing opinions or perceived disloyalty. Many talented leaders have been forced out or pushed to resign under pressure, resulting in high turnover and instability. HR is largely ineffective at protecting employees from retaliation. The approval rating is low for a reason—many former employees have shared similar experiences.
