An innovative idea, tool, or solution has a good chance of making a big impact on a client's operations if it is well developed. The new principles also seem to be making a lot of progress with internal management. The firm is positioned to make very real contributions to clients, and the fields of social impact strategy and performance assessment - as well as very real gains in the market.

The company sabotaged itself in the past year, repeatedly. Management would too often ignore intelligent input from lower employees, or go over their heads in managing a client engagement, often with a cost to client relationships and internal morale. The firm also saw enormous staff turnover at all levels, but the new teams seem be more stable. It is difficult to anticipate who has the authority to make or approve decisions. MM has struggled with all of the hurdles of transitioning to a mid-size firm.
