Mobile Circulation Group (MCG) utilizes independent contractors to sell newspaper subscriptions. Independent contractors only earn commissions on orders that are valid. The independent contractor makes as much money as the time they are willing to put into the job. Most of our successful independent contractor sales reps do work 7 days a week, but it is not a requirement. As to the remarks that MCG does not pay correctly, this could not be further from the truth. The owner of MCG goes out of his way to help the sales reps, oftentimes not getting repaid for the assistance. This particular review is from someone that worked with our company for over 5 years. He left very disgruntled, left with no notice and was a manager of a market. The lack of professionalism from this individual needs to be taken into account, as well as our company having to resort to legal avenues to recoup funds that this person left owing the company. MCG realizes that being an independent contractor has its pros and cons, however, our company strives to maintain the highest degree of professionalism and expects the same from our team.
