Unstable job and company, they are constantly changing the commission structure and plan, from a year to another you will see your comission dramatically reduce for a deal at same amount. The comission plan is confusing and it is done in purpose. No team activity and very limited perks, they act like comission is a perks and that you will get that nowhere. Basic Salary is one of the lowest in the industry and commissions are not great but be prepared to work crazy hours. The company vision, the mission and goals are also no clear. The product is not what is seems to be and there is no care and respect for the customers, its nearly impossible to build a good relationship with the customers and for them to see the company positively. The atmosphere is weird, no room for grow or advencement, very unprofessional management and executive that will constantly promote themselves while other people do the job. Be prepared to not be heard and have 0 support.They also do layoffs very often. This is not a place for everyone that want to protect their mental health. Very dodgy, you can find pages on Reddit about this company and also article on the we b and it is not looking good No team activity and very limited perks, they act like comission is a perks and you will get that nowhere. Silently, the company is carrying out a layoff, whether through direct cuts or by introducing a compensation plan that doubles quotas while reducing commission rates, ultimately driving many high-performing professionals to leave. The GTM leadership does not seem to have a clear direction or understanding of what they are doing, particularly when it comes to whether Monotype is positioning itself as a customer-first organization or as a font software licensing enforcement company. The new guidelines clearly appear to be a strategy to reduce headcount.
