Great management, coworkers are pretty nice. Job is pretty easy, and flexible scheduling

owner is greedy and scams customers by selling expired food. Does not care about the business or employees. Pay is low as well while the owner takes 5 vacations a year

mostly neurodivergent workplace so we accommodated each other. It really was a special and fun place to work before it became more corporate. Most of the customers, especially regulars, are cool. Not extremely demanding and Halloween all the time :)

Corporate team seemed to have conflict with each other in terms of vision, and began to strip it of its unique charm. Potential environmental hazards throughout building. Once we worked with no heat for 6 weeks in the winter. Another time in the summer we had no AC for months, in spite of it being a building with no windows or proper ventilation. No benefits including PTO for full time employees because they use loopholes to maintain “small business” status despite corporatization.
