Let's start this off by saying I have only worked here for a little over a year. The majority of my coworkers have been here 10+ years, and love it. In the short time I have been with Moog, they have been extremely flexible with everything that has happened in my life. Everyone here has your best interest at heart, and treat you with the respect that you deserve. We're a big family. Moog is also adding in more and more ways to work for the employees as much as we work for the company. You won't find another company like us! I wouldn't want to work anywhere else!

The company has a bit of a startup-like vibe, and still feels established. They’re pretty open to letting younger engineers take on real responsibility , which makes it a good place to grow. From what I’ve seen in all-hands meetings, the senior leadership also seems to genuinely care about employees—you can kind of tell they’re paying attention and trying to take care of the team.

You are surrounded by excellent colleagues across all departments, with the exception of Government Property.

The Government Property team suffers from severe leadership deficiencies and a toxic work culture. The Senior Manager has a well-documented history of high turnover, carrying a reputation from her previous role where team members actively sought transfers. Under this leadership, promotions are actively discouraged through targeted hostility and fabricated performance issues. Because the management team lacks foundational people skills and prior leadership experience, employee retention is critically low. While other departments within the organization offer great opportunities for growth, transferring into or staying within Government Property is highly discouraged.
