Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We appreciate your feedback; however, we are sad to hear that you’re having a negative experience with us. What you describe is not what we strive for. We want all our employees to have the tools they need to succeed, which is why we are taking strides towards improving the new hire experience. We currently have managers spearheading an initiative to develop an Onboarding Hub to house Moog knowledge and expectations in a central location. We are also continually developing our Achieve @ Moog platform with the intent to aid in onboarding as well as exploration of the various roles Moog has to offer. The company has a bit of a startup-like vibe, and still feels established. They’re pretty open to letting younger engineers take on real responsibility , which makes it a good place to grow. From what I’ve seen in all-hands meetings, the senior leadership also seems to genuinely care about employees—you can kind of tell they’re paying attention and trying to take care of the team.

You are surrounded by excellent colleagues across all departments, with the exception of Government Property.

The Government Property team suffers from severe leadership deficiencies and a toxic work culture. The Senior Manager has a well-documented history of high turnover, carrying a reputation from her previous role where team members actively sought transfers. Under this leadership, promotions are actively discouraged through targeted hostility and fabricated performance issues. Because the management team lacks foundational people skills and prior leadership experience, employee retention is critically low. While other departments within the organization offer great opportunities for growth, transferring into or staying within Government Property is highly discouraged.
