Made some money while I looked for a better job

- allowed for company time falsification under customers like Lockheed Martin - management expected me to get work done with no training during second shift and scheduled me without anyone to ask help from - management would get on me for not working when there is no work available and they would not properly train me to work. - one of the managers would never speak to me the entire time i worked there and the other barely ever spoke to me which made it impossible to get work done properly and made an extremely awkward work environment as there were only 2 managers. - management would assign me to test on equipment that i never trained with and on days when nobody would ever work - the managers supposedly have PhD's but there are clear issues in the supply chain that a toddler could fix. I'm surprised huge companies like Lockheed Martin still do business with Moog.

The company has a bit of a startup-like vibe, and still feels established. They’re pretty open to letting younger engineers take on real responsibility , which makes it a good place to grow. From what I’ve seen in all-hands meetings, the senior leadership also seems to genuinely care about employees—you can kind of tell they’re paying attention and trying to take care of the team.

You are surrounded by excellent colleagues across all departments, with the exception of Government Property.

The Government Property team suffers from severe leadership deficiencies and a toxic work culture. The Senior Manager has a well-documented history of high turnover, carrying a reputation from her previous role where team members actively sought transfers. Under this leadership, promotions are actively discouraged through targeted hostility and fabricated performance issues. Because the management team lacks foundational people skills and prior leadership experience, employee retention is critically low. While other departments within the organization offer great opportunities for growth, transferring into or staying within Government Property is highly discouraged.
