Average compensation. Flow of work is VERY inconsistent. Budgets for projects are also inconsistent, and you might have to ocassionally work overtime for free just to catch the deadline. Career progress is not very promising. Young engineers seem to be restricted to one group with little say in what projects they want and as a result don't get to learn a lot. Even though there are lots of offices in the US under the same practice, they don't talk well with each other and don't share the workload/resources well enough (this however seem to be improving).
