Lifeboat mentality with respect to bonus availability. Their are winners and losers, if you are in the boat you win big. Those at a certain level earn huge bonuses, sometimes doubling their salary. But it's almost impossible to achieve this level unless you came out of their main headquarters in England. They don't share the wealth very much with Americans.
