The world as we knew it is falling apart and corporate greed is nibbling on its backbones. Today, hr asked me, to send a document change request via post, in the age of work from home and fast deliveries. The company I work for REMOTELY asked me, to send them a damn request per post. How ridiculous will it get? I forgot to tell you, that there are two 5 min breaks and one of 30 minutes. All of which are predetermined by the employer. I urinate by my employer's schedule, I defecate on my employer's schedule, and I by on my employer's schedule. There is nothing more left in the 8 hours window I could do with my life. Most of the processes should and can be automated. There is no autonomy of work, the micromanagement has become a culture for itself. It is even praised. And then they tell me, „great work life balance“. Work life balance my gluteus. Unfortunately for me, I don't really have any other option. I am suffocating in the greediest corporate environment ever. With no way to educate myself out of it, no will to climb the ladder again and no money to survive on my own anymore. I have finally become, the most pristine part of the machine. The shackles have bound themselves to my calves again, this time, tighter than before. I truly hate the corporate world and if I could, I would burn it down, no questions asked. I hate MegaCorp5000JumboTron for even being a part of my life.
