I wish I had listened to the reviews from 2017 before joining, because nothing much has changed since.
- Lack of transparency with significant changes
- HR does not take matters of bullying and harassment seriously. When women complain about their male colleagues acting inappropriately, or when Muslim female colleagues are deemed to be dressed 'un-Islamically', they are given an Islamic lecture
- Senior management is rude to staff, with unrealistic expectations and no direction. All workload is reactionary
- Workload level is exploitative, and staff are often disturbed during AL, weekends and evenings
- Poor campaign planning and coordination between departments. All departments are at war with each other
Office politics rules the way the organisation runs. When I told my manager that I didn't want to play their games, they said, 'That's just office politics, yeah? Get used to it'
- Gaslighting when staff voice their concerns, I was silenced many times when I tried to question my manager and director for their questionable decision-making
- A genuine fear of all internal and external accountability
