Vantaggi
I really enjoyed working with the clients, as well as some of the other consultants in my office. Benefits are ok but there are better elsewhere.
Svantaggi
-No name company often confused with "CFO now" -You get paid for client billable hours. (A normal practice In this industry, but obtaining clients is the hard part for these guys) -Clients still drop this company even if engagement letter is signed. -They have lost multiple large clients for providing sub par accounting work corporate wide. -Managing partner penny pinches consultants. (Must meet difficult requirements to get paid) - High High High turnover, especially the business development reps. - Very unorganized. - Some Partners are inexperienced and unqualified for their positions. -Turning in time sheets is a terrible experience. -Depending on the office, a consultant could go months without a client. -Hourly Contracts: If you find yourself without a client, and you choose to work elsewhere for the time being (they won't pay you for hours not billable to the client), they could let you go. So heads up. -Full-time Contracts: You must meet special requirements to get paid while on the bench. -Signing absurd non-competes regardless of contract so be careful.
