He provides me freedom to operate commensurate with my ability to keep my clients happy Able to help clients through difficult accounting issues Lots of opportunities to try new things Great support from coworkers Opportunity for commissions Don't compete with auditors, easy to make relationships that bring in business Often bring in multiple consultants at different levels to meet client needs

      Centralized company administration is still pretty loose, but has tightened up in the last year. It can take some time to realize consultants and business development people we hire are a poor fit for our culture. This has often led to me having to clean up messes, but has also led to very strong client relationships afterwards.
