Some good people and decent office spaces, if sometimes a little out of town.

Take away the huge number of 5 star reviews with taglines like "Great Place to Work" or "Accelerate your Career" (these are obviously created by HR) and you have left a pretty honest appraisal of where DD is today. A company which did what it used to do well but has found it tough to pivot to the changing demands of the modern market and the competition. Much of the senior management is spinning around without a clear strategy and patting each other on the back - and this is reflected in the low spirits in the business as a whole. In Singapore they continue to have mass retrenchments at the regional level every year and the local office gets results which working everyone to the bone. Internal "transformational" projects are badly run and typically spiral out of control. If you could see under the engine there's no way you get in this car. There is little thought towards modernizing the operation: for example there is little appetite for flexible working and benefits which other companies in the industry do so well. NTT are taking successful pieces of the business away and no doubt what is left will be let go or sold off. The management will all be okay: they always are.

- Compensation and raises can be slow, infrequency, and below market - Personal Development review process can be unclear and slow - Processes and decision making around them can feel very outdated, there seems to be a lack of structure and clarity around many HR and business operations areas - Very little employee recognition - Critical benefits information isn’t distributed well and there is zero follow up actions to ensure we have all important access/accounts set up
