When I was there I was clearly being bullied by my team leader for probably being the only foreigner in there. On a 1-to-1 meeting I had with him he told me that he worked with Spanish people before and that he knew us and didn't want me to bring my work culture into the company. The funny thing about this is that I am Portuguese not Spanish. After raising this with HR, there was an investigation and he apologised in front of the HR and the Director for what he said. However when I asked him to tell us what he said in front of them, he refused and the Director brushed it off. It was a shame as if he had, I could have sued the company as there were witnesses. They ended up firing me 2 weeks later on my birthday as I was on probation with a BS excuse. Unfortunately I couldn't sue them because there were no witnesses to what my team leader said otherwise I would have.
