11yLet me thank you for taking the time for such a detailed review. As you have described in the pros that you listed, we are a company which believes in a very flat organization. And with a structure comes responsibility of your work, which we believe is the only way that intelligent people want to work. Another benefit of the flat structure is that it provides learning opportunities and it makes everyone in the company very approachable (both upwards and downwards).
Let me talk a little bit about some of the areas of improvement that you describe. The QA packages being different from developers is a common feedback that we receive (as you mentioned). Unfortunately, it is also the industry norm. This is something that we are monitoring all the time. We are also in the process of a paid salary bench-marking exercise through an external firm.
While there are processes and policies which can use more maturity, they are not opaque on purpose - and are never used in an unfair manner towards the employees. I encourage you to ask question anytime you feel this is happening - even if it means escalating to the management (which is very approachable for any feedback).
The ERP program is due for a revamp (we get hundreds of resumes as of now). You will see a new program roll out within this quarter. We are currently working on the design and testing a software for implementing it.
Finally, regarding your advice to management - we are a good company to work for. Even if you are a QA - there are several new initiatives coming in place for the QA track. We are likely paying better than the market (even if it is lower compared to developers).
Thank you once again for your time.
