Promoting a former marketing director into the chief operating role was a baffling decision that has led to utter operational incompetence at the executive level. Her deeply unprofessional, embarrassing conduct at company functions sets a terrible standard for the staff and has eroded all corporate respect.Meanwhile, the CEO is chronically checked out, visibly unprepared for company-wide updates, and relies entirely on personal cronyism to protect his position rather than demonstrating actual competence. It feels as though the entire organization is being used to pad executive pockets while the actual workforce suffers under an unmanageable environment with massive, exhausting HR turnover. You either blindly play along with their corporate politics, or you are pushed out.
