Working alongside a few genuinely kind, professional and supportive colleagues. We were united by the shared experience of simply trying to get through each horrible day.

This company is dominated by an aggressive, spiteful and unchecked owner-manager. Almost every other problem flows from that. Professional management is replaced by personal attacks. Aggressive behaviour is normal. Employees never know who will be the next person to be shouted at or publicly humiliated. The atmosphere is one of intimidation and fear. Behaviour that would be considered completely unacceptable in any modern workplace is routine. One example illustrates the culture. After shouting at me until I was in tears, the owner insisted on hugging me before later congratulating me for staying. Employees are not trusted. Graduates are particularly vulnerable. The company presents itself as investing in young professionals. It doesnt. There are no workplace safeguards. HR (an individual) is neither independent nor remotely capable of providing a safe route for raising concerns. There is no meaningful accountability for the owner’s conduct. When I joined, this was my first professional role after graduating. I had no benchmark against which to judge what I was experiencing, so I spent far too long believing this was simply what working life was like. It isn’t. People leave at an extraordinary rate. In my final month alone, five people left and the business only has around 18 employees which clearly says something. Advice to potential employees Do not dismiss the existing reviews because they seem too extreme to be true. This is indeed a deeply toxic company run by a genuinely unpleasant owner-manager. Leaving was one of the best decisions I have made.
