All the “pros” are ruined by awful management. Gaslighting, under-table politics, and unfair treatment of the employees are based on personal connections instead of professional skills. Heads of the audio team are using sexist and rhetoric when hiring and reviewing their employees' work. Inappropriate jokes, bullying in the inner chats, offensive language toward female and LGBTQ+ people are common during verbal or text communications. New hires are often used as a “safety buffer” to provide the privileged inner cycle’s job security by firing “fresh blood” in case of negative reviews of the team’s performance from upper management and project teams. The audio team’s management is not interested in the results or benefits that can be brought to the project; all they care about is creating a stable picture for the higher management to keep their job secure. People trying to change this situation or bring some attention to it are being threatened or fired. It’s a massive disappointment that such practices still exist in this industry, as the company itself is not bad and can provide good opportunities and interesting projects.
