For a good part of the time, the work you do seems like busy work. Work to make you feel busy but often will never be implemented. There's so many levels of management that it feels like they don't actually listen to legitimate issues further down the chain. Senior management at the site are very approachable but the people calling the shots are so far away. No room for growth. Good hardworking people leave because they feel very under-appreciated.
