Vantaggi

Friendly people. Good work-life balance. Excellent benefits, though pay is at or slightly-below market. If you are skilled and a high-performer, you can work on whatever you want and develop whatever skills you like because you will NEVER lose your job for not meeting expectations...because there are none.

Svantaggi

Nobody is ever fired, so little pressure to perform or add value. Lots of people who are simply not very good at their job. Complacency, neglect, and incompetence in too many departments (IT especially) and positions, including large portion of C-suite. Concern for product quality simply does not exist. Management is completely unwilling to remove poor performers and non-team players. The result is an environment with low morale where high performers quickly move on to somewhere better (turnover is very high), and those who remain are inevitably promoted to positions they are simply not skilled enough to handle. It's too bad, because the opportunity exists to do great work and truly help members.

Vantaggi

I always look forward to going to work at New Directions every morning. It’s a great remote job and has a career path. You definitely need to be a self starter and have the ability to navigate the computer and various platforms.

Svantaggi

Pay is fairly moderate for what is expected of us to learn.

Vantaggi

- Benefits were great. - Compensation - OK.

Svantaggi

- They have horribly immature management all the way up to the CIO. - No clear direction on what the future of technology looks like for the company. - They have an overbearing CIO that most of the infrastructure team and management have major issues with. - Though there are great employees there, the talent is either suppressed by bad management decisions or is completely lacking on some teams. - Too much fighting between CIO and CISO that produces hostile work environment. - They can't keep good employees long enough. A majority of people quit within their first year. The networking team had two guys quit before they were there for 90 days and management just had to promote one of the only two network engineers left to keep him from leaving.
