Nidec is a large global organization with a strong push to grow. Electric motors are a tremendous growth area, so the product and the company together are poised for opportunity. There are opportunities for movement within divisions. Company often promotes from within.

HQ is in Japan and leadership is sometimes removed from Western management styles. Hyper focused on growth and margin, less so on the strategy to get there. Locally, most senior management grew up in Emerson, and continue to work as if we are Emerson....same meetings, same PowerPoints....there is room for innovation.
