      When Nokia was truly a Finnish company the transparency, innovation and fun was high. Very little hierarchy and people could be assured that their ideas mattered.

      Paranoia, self-delusion, and desperation…that is the current mood. Though there are still some very good people in the company but many have left. Senior management is often Microsoft castoffs.

      Decent starting salary, good benefits, generous PTO

      1% raises forever. Last promotion I got to Principal had no raise but a bump in bonus percentage. Now they are giving kids 8-12% raises and they have less than 5 yrs. Once you hit about 5 yrs you will get the 1% a yr and be pigeon holed into a specific job. Then good luck trying to change.
