We all know insurance isn't sexy, but yet somehow this startup makes it sexy. Starting with the culture - the people at the company are very friendly, cordial and inclusive. The management team is approachable and receptive to feedback. The semi-annual corporate retreats are well-planned, fun, and a great way to build team chemistry. The technology at the company is modern compared to the tech-stacks that you see at traditional insurance/finance companies. The team has frequent architecture meetings so you'll get a first row seat in the decision making behind their choices in technology. The compensation is pretty competitive considering it's only a startup - it's not FAANG money but exceeds what you'll get at typical startups.

More meetings than I would like but understandable given that everyone's remote and need to sync.

There are none, leadership is weak and toxic.

It's a game of pass the blame with a lot of underhanded management practices to force people out.
