Great people, snazzy offices in a prime location, and the chance to work on proper grid-scale battery projects in a fast-growing industry. Things move fast and there's never a dull moment. The potential is huge, as batteries are going huge in the years ahead. With the backing of Norwegian giant Equinor (since 2021) on future projects, the future ought to be pretty solid.

The management style is very old-fashioned and extremely top-down. There is almost no hierarchy, no delegation, and everything is controlled directly from the top. This really doesn't work in a company of this size - it's no longer a tiny start-up. The gender balance is hopelessly male-dominated, which is common in engineering companies, but even worse than usual here! The company also exists very much in a bubble, strangely isolated from its own industry. There is no sectoral networking, no professional development, and no emphasis on training and career progression. This has directly led to increased staff turnover, which is a shame. They get good people in, but can't keep them.
