IT managements are all for themselves. They will never backup their employees if it exposes their position. They don't even try to review any justification, but rather sweep it under the carpet. In other words, they don't want any scandal so they keep their job by milking NB until they retire. The hard part is, they have relations with HR... That itself gives them control.
