Decent pay, some nice people.

Don't even know where to begin. Was set up for this position through a recruiter for what was supposed to be a 6-month contract and got let go a month into the job because the company realized they didn't need the role anymore and didn't have the funds for it. I was consistently one of the first people in the lab in the mornings and always got my tasks done. It was clear that this company is poorly managed. They offered me the position after a single phone interview. No follow-up interview of any sort, which I found sketchy, but I took the job anyways (my mistake). There are a couple nice people that work here, but overall the company doesn't even know what they're doing with themselves.
