      My immediate coworkers were excellent and I enjoyed working closely with the PAs/NPs in my office. ER staff not always the best to work with because they did not want to have a behavioral health patient "taking up their beds."

      Upper management is clueless on what is best practice in our field, there are ways to work within the medical model and still give the best care for behavioral health population

      Of all the companies I have worked for Novant has been the best experience. I moved back into leadership after years of having stepped back from leadership due to burnout and frustration. Novant invests more than any company I have seen in both frontline and leader development, with cohesive messaging about priorities. I truly enjoy the teams I work with.

      IT was moved to overseas a few years back. They back-pedaled on this and moved some aspects back to domestic coverage, but overall, I can't see where this improves operational efficiency despite surface level savings.
