Strong municipal product line. Focus on this product line is without compare in the industry. Since the acquisition by TIAA-CREF, new ownership has increased financing different departments - should be considered to be a good thing.

A lot of layers in the organization. Compliance is really difficult to work with and the target is always moving with that group. The firm hires former investment consultants as full-time employees to the detriment of the firm, as they bring very little relevant experience to the table.
