They don't like to move you around or let you grow in the company. I've asked to be transferred to different teams as I wanted to expand my role, but they never even considered it. And no, it's not like I had no background or education in those areas. They told me I was good at what I was doing and they wanted me in the same position year after year. There was really no challenge, work wise.
