I intentionally waited a year before writing this review because I wanted to share an opinion based on real experience rather than first impressions. Everyone's experience may differ, but having worked on multiple projects across several companies and countries, I can confidently say that OEC is one of the best places I've worked. Note: I am part of the Infrastructure team, so my review is based on my experience within that team. Here are the things that stand out about OEC: Excellent work-life balance: This is by far the most work-life balance-friendly company I've worked for. Recognition and rewards: The company genuinely recognizes employees' contributions through monthly awards, annual awards, and ad hoc recognition programs. Additional compensation: There are extra monetary benefits for employees who are part of the on-call rotation or work shifts. Supportive HR team: This is the only company I've worked for where HR has been consistently approachable and responsive. Queries are addressed promptly and professionally. Competitive compensation: The pay is in line with market standards for a product company. Supportive leadership: The onsite leadership trusts employees, gives them room to grow, and recognizes achievements. You are given ownership without unnecessary micromanagement. Flexibility: The work culture is highly flexible, to the point where introducing even a small new policy can sometimes be met with resistance because employees are used to a great deal of autonomy. A special mention goes to Senthil, who heads the India Infrastructure team. He is one of the best managers and colleagues I've had the opportunity to work with. He doesn't just assign tasks—he actively helps remove roadblocks, encourages growth, and ensures team members get visibility with leadership. In my one year here, I haven't experienced or witnessed a single toxic incident, which is honestly one of the main reasons I waited a full year before posting this review. I wanted to be sure that my positive experience wasn't just due to the honeymoon phase. Overall, OEC has a great culture, a great team, supportive leadership, and excellent HR partners. One thing I noticed before joining was that there wasn't much information about OEC India available online, which made my decision a little difficult. At the time, I had three offers to choose from, and I can confidently say I don't regret choosing OEC. If you're considering joining OEC India, I hope this review helps.
