The job is to help companies recycle their retiring e-waste. E-waste is filled with bad stuff, we help lessen the impact on the environment. So that's super cool. It's a casual environment. Everybody in sales wants everybody to be successful. It's a good sales floor. OceanTech is not a huge corporate process-driven enterprise. This can be a pro or a con depending on what you like. For me it's great. This is a good inside sales gig in that the expectations are clearly known and attainable.

Svantaggi

Salespeople work out of an ERP, not a CRM. (I'm told it's being addressed). This means you need to be very good at documentation and follow-up. To be clear this position does cold-calls daily. It's hard work if that's not your jam.

Though a smaller company (around 50 people), some things that require change still take longer than they should. This is annoying, but eventually it does get done and the improvement is good and well rounded. They really like initiative... so if you are doing a good job but just hanging around hoping people will notice and praise you... i mean it DOES happen, but if you want the attention you have so speak up - conversely (since this is the "cons" section), if you do, and you are in fact doing well you WILL be rewarded.

Run by 2 brothers who think they are hot stuff because they run a company. They have no idea what they are doing at all. Not a good place to get experience
