Rarely meet students A lot of students do not care

OHVA tends to hire very good principals and leads who are supportive and positive and generally helpful. The curriculum and technology are fairly easy to work with, though there is certainly a learning curve. Low to no commute. Good benefits, great insurance.

Downsides include rapidly changing student loads as students register late (need catch-up help) or leave mid semester (lots of chasing to try to engage). Workload is high; workdays are long; and students always need to be chased. Pay is low compared to school district/union employment.
