They were good people as long as you were willing to have them looking over your shoulder even if they had half the experience if any in what they were attempting to micromanage you for. The good side was when things were good you didn't have to worry about them making sure you were going to have more work that day because they would all ways dump more on you and wonder why you were getting an attitude about having to do 8 or 10 different jobs and get them done in 10 minutes each.

They were sure to take advantage of you if management made a bad decision and changed processes that resulted in bad product. Most of the time blame was never placed or pointed where it belonged.

1. The natural bacterial control idea is nice. 2. Pay is comparable to, or exceeding, other places in the valley.

1. It's a family owned business so don't be surprised to see family and friends make appearances for periods of time and get paid more than you but not be as good. 2. Executive management doesn't know much about the science. There's an insurance salesman as the CEO and an electrical engineer as the COO of a biotechnology company. The VP of R&D was a Ph.D. but he didn't have experience with bacteriophages. 3. The ethics of management is shady. 4. Yearly layoffs. Either mid 4th quarter or early 1st quarter they fire people but they switch it up. They seem to think having employees in fear of being fired is a good motivator to work hard. 5. No 401k.
