- 2 female sales staff at the bags department are very rude n nasty, even if they made mistakes in instructions or setup, they’ll blame it on u/anyhow say that what u said that they told u wasn’t what they said. would scowl or glare at u when you’re assigned to work in the bags department with them, like its their area only or something?? - seems like lately they’re outsourcing crew instead of giving roster spots to their own staff (even when internally company has a good demand - as somehow they can afford to cancel their own staff shifts) 🤷🏻‍♀️, so if you’re planning to work quite some shifts as part time with them, bear in mind ur income would fluctuate A LOT -(adding onto the point above) when I meant by external staff, I mean outsourcing to another company D & others (which many times hired foreign students who didn’t groom properly and WORST, slack off during work, lazy, take extra long meal break, talk during sales shift etc), like imagine these lazy staff being paid HIGHER than u per hour and yet OTL don’t choose to hire more of their own regulars (who are mostly hardworking) to work for the shifts 😔 and unfortunately, the same staff kept showing up many times, clearly being given the shifts to work more than OTL part timers - management would suddenly cancel ur shift vv last min, can be a day or two before, a night before, or even an hour before (no compensation as a part timer so gg if u previously said no to other ad hoc jobs that day from other companies, vv hard to find another ad hoc job so last minute in view of the sudden shift cancellation) - politics of the full time staff (and the long time part timer guy) vs the occasional/new part timers quite obvious - unfriendly full time staff (excluding 1 shorter Chinese man, vv kind n nice! :D) - if u work full shift (10hrs ++), only 1 meal hour is given, so if u work 7/8 till 8pm, u can only have lunch or dinner, keep in mind that it’s not covered either -deal with the smell of someone’s vape at the back room
